The Australian bottlebrush, genus: Callistemon, is in the Myrtaceae family, are a familiar sight in our bush and gardens.
Callistemon pallidus, commonly called Lemon Bottlebrush, is an ornamental plant. It is a hardy shrub with fresh lemon coloured brushes contrasting with grey-green foliage.
Lemon Bottlebrush grows naturally in Tasmania and will get up to 3m with a span of up to 2m.
This frost-hardy plant will grow in moist situations in full sun or part shade and will withstand moderate exposure to salt laden winds.
